Mila Arbuzova was born in Leningrad, USSR in 1973.
Having graduated from Saint-Petersburg’s University of Humanities and Social Sciences, she worked as a journalist at the different art and cultural magazines. At the same time she began her own artist’s experiments.

The first two years of life were spent in a communal apartment in the Grazdanskaya street - in the same house where the hero of Fyodor Dostoyevsky's "Crime and Punishment" novel killed the old woman. Different nationalities such as Russian, Ukrainian, Jew, Czech, Swede and German were interlaced in the Arbuzova’s kin.
Studied at the art school ¹11. In 1993 she began to paint the first pictures in oil and then – in acryl.
In 1998 she graduated from St. Petersburg University of Humanities and Social Sciences by specialization “art criticizm”. Defended the diploma on theme "Unofficial Chinese painting of 7-13th centuries - Taoist monks, masters of the Chan’ shool, "artists-literary men””.
In 1998-2005 she worked as an art critic at S.P.A.S. gallery and at the "New World of Art" magazine and as a journalist at  "Na Nevskom", "Pod Klutch", "FREETIME", "SPb.Sobaka.ru" and  “100% Krasniy" magazines (articles about culture and art, interviews). Publications were also in the German magazine "Vostok", in St. Petersburg newspapers ("Vecherniy Peterburg", "Vecherneye Vremya", "Activist" etc.). At the same time she began her own artist’s experiments in the field of painting, drawing and performance.
In 2010-2011 Arbuzova became a member of the initiative group of citizens "Petersburg’s Parents" which fought for the preservation of free quality education in Russia. In 2012 she collaborated with the NGO "Observers of the Petersburg" fighting for fair elections. As the result of her public activities Arbuzova was included into the FSD-FSC’s “control program” and subjected to psychotronic terror.  Member of the PEC voting.
Curator of the international BIOWOMAN art project.
Paints in acryl combining naive realism, social irony and transcendental view of the surrounding reality.
Writes in the "On Nevsky" magazine as a journalist.
Member of the IFA («Creative Union of Artists") since 2015.
Solo exhibitions were held in ZERO gallery, the Arts Center “Sergienko Apartments", in the "100 SVOIH" art gallery.
Took part  in the group exhibitions at the museum of contemporary art “Erarta”, at the “Crosses” prison, at the Peter and Paul Fortress, at the “Manege” Exhibition Hall, at the Russian National Library in Saint-Petersburg and in the exhibitions of the «BIOWOMAN» art project  in Germany, Israel, USA and Russia.
The mother of three sons.
